By participating in this cooperative effort with Big Country Meat Market and the Wildlife Department, you will be aiding in the mission to supply quality meals to the people of Oklahoma in need this winter season.
Legally harvesting a deer gives hunters the opportunity to donate the meat to help feed hungry Oklahomans. Bring the deer to Big Country Meat Market after checking it in at a hunter check station. Hunters are asked to make a small, tax-deductible donation to help with the processing charges, but they may also pay the entire fee, which is also a tax-deductible donation. After the ground venison is prepared, it will be given out through an array of certified charitable organizations.
The joint effort of Big Country Meat Market and the hunters is essential for making sure the needy of Oklahoma have something to eat.
